Raising Tweens & Teens

Raising Tweens and Teens is a course for parents and carers with children aged 9-18 years old.  Over 4 evenings, we look at the joys and challenges of releasing our kids into adulthood, whilst helping them (and us!) to navigate the pressures and pitfalls of how to handle mood swings, challenging conversations, social media, sex and relationships … and everything else that comes with adolescence!

Raising Tweens and Teens is not a course that will tell you how to be a ‘good parent’, but it will give you time and space to think through what you want for your family, and how you might adjust and change your parenting approach as your children grow older.

The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, with wine and refreshments.  There is an opportunity for group discussion with other parents and carers, as well as time and space to think through the topics on your own or with your partner.

This is a taste of what previous participants have thought about our parenting courses:

“Well thought out material which was presented in an accessible way with great wisdom from people and their experiences.”

“All the sessions were excellent. The real life examples were pure gold and brought credibility to the content.”

“Very re-assuring – it was good to understand the difficulties that all parents face, that there is no ‘perfect’ family or ‘perfect’ parents. I feel more relaxed about the struggles and differences of opinion with my child, and therefore am more able to listen and discuss with them.”

“We feel so lucky to have done this course when we had a 9 year old, as we can start now with the ideas and tips. So very grateful to all the team.”
