This year STC Sheffield are launching their season of Alpha with a meal provided by the Food Works.
This evening is hosted by the student and young adult community at STC and aimed at 18-30s in Sheffield. Whatever your reasons for exploring life, faith and meaning we would love to invite you to join us for some wonderful food and receive an invitation to try Alpha.
About the Meal
If you haven’t visited us at STC Sheffield before you can expect a warm welcome, long tables, low lights, have conversations, share ideas and food and receive an invitation to Alpha.
The evening starts at 6:30pm and the talented team at Food Works will share about the two creative courses they will serve and how they have become a leading voice in food waste in Sheffield. There is the option to bring your own drinks and and after dinner tea and coffee will be provided as we hear an invitation to Alpha with Phil Knox.
Ticket price is free and includes entry. However, places are limited so book early to secure your space at the table. We will ask for a pay-as-you-feel donation towards the food and the experience on the night.
About Alpha
Alpha is the place to explore the Christian faith with others. We are running 8 sessions starting on the 10th February at STC Sheffield. Find out more about Alpha at STC Sheffield here and let us know you are coming.
About Food Works
Food Works Sheffield (formerly The Real Junk Food Project Sheffield) is a non-profit social enterprise saving food from being wasted and making it available to the people of Sheffield! Their team will be keen to chat throughout the night to talk about the different ways we can work together to reduce food waste.
