The prayer shed is available to book in 30minute slots for individuals/groups of up to 6 people, or you can of course pray at any time during the week, wherever you happen to be.

Why a prayer week?
Hi everyone,
I’ve realised that in the busyness of preparing the Prayer Shed, the many practicalities, challenges and details around having it ready for the big day, I have lost sight of WHY we are called to have a Prayer Week at all.
Over the last few days, I have been pondering in my heart why our Father had prepared, at this time, a call to turn our eyes to him in such a specific way. In my busyness, I had called for outward prayer to be the leading beat – the church, the city, neighbours. And there will be a time again for that …
This is not the time. This is the time for us to come together, the children of the Father of compassion, to lay everything down at his feet, to surrender our lives again and to be in his presence. A time of retreat.
The scriptures the Lord is laying on my heart are these:
From Matthew 11 Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me – watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.
From Ephesians 4 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.
From 2 Corinthians 1 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.
My prayer is that each of us, as we take part in this week set aside for our healing and strengthening, will begin to walk again in the unforced rhythms of Jesus’ grace – then we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
