After last year’s success, we’re launching Streets of Light again for you and your family to enjoy!
Last year 120 houses, shops and places of work took part in the first ever ‘Streets of Light’ trail. It was an amazing success, and this year we would like it to be even bigger and better than before!
To get involved all you need to do is to decorate one (or more!) windows of your house, flat or workplace, and then leave the lights on or curtains open, so people can see your fantastic displays. Your design can be anything you like, but please include either the word ‘light’ or ‘love’ somewhere in it.
We will be putting maps and flyers together that show the streets and places where families, friends, schools, Brownies and Beaver packs etc, can walk and spot the different houses of light.
There will be several mini trails across the city—in Crookes, Walkley, Hillsborough, Crosspool/Lodgemoor, Fir Vale and Broomhill/Endcliffe etc.
In 2017 over 300 people completed the trail, and this year we are making it even easier for people to get involved by having all the trail maps online.
Pdf maps of specific areas can be downloaded here.
