The Higher Tour is the largest mission to young people in a generation.
The big dream of the Higher Tour is that, in partnership with local churches and other youth agencies, we present the good news of Jesus Christ to tens of thousands of young people and see thousands making a decision to become lifelong disciples of Jesus.

We passionately believe that Jesus changes lives – not just for an evening at an action-packed event, but for good. We’re longing to see a shift in youth culture throughout this nation and to see Jesus’ name lifted Higher again.
The Higher Tour
in South Yorkshire
The Higher Tour is an initiative of The Message Trust and, in partnership with The Shine Project, The Higher Tour is coming to South Yorkshire in 2019!
What will The Higher Tour do?
During March 2019 The Higher Tour will engage with young people across South Yorkshire in four ways:
Dynamic Engagement in Schools
Our missions teams work in schools taking lessons and assemblies, addressing many key topics such as bullying, self esteem, peer pressure, relationships and decision making. We want to inspire young people to creatively look for ways in which the can make a positive difference in their home, schools and local communities.

High-energy Evangelistic Gigs
These are events perfect for inviting young people and their friends. They feature a clear presentation of the gospel and an opportunity to respond and be connected to a church.

Partnership with the Local Church
The local church is at the heart of the Higher Tour. We long to see young people engaged in a healthy Christian community as they begin their journey of discipleship.
After a young person makes a decision to follow Christ during the Higher Tour, our goal is that they would be quickly connected with a youth worker from one of our partner churches.
