We’re an exciting and growing community in Crookes that seeks to be defined by three key things: friendship, God and action!

If you’re aged between 11-18, then Defined is the perfect place to come and hang out with your mates, discover more about God and be part of a vibrant and dynamic community that is seeking to make a difference in the places that matter to you.

We love welcoming new people, so why not come along and check out what we do. In the meantime, if you or your parents/carers have any questions about Defined Youth Church you can contact us using the details on this page. • Friday Nights (7.30-9pm)

We have three different groups that meet on a Friday. Check out what they do below!

    Year 7 – 9

A fun and enthusiastic community where we play games, hang out and discuss the stuff that matters to us. We love getting alongside each other and hanging out as friends on a Friday evening.

    Year 10 – 11

A fun, chilled environment in which everyone is welcome. We love to hang out, play some crazy games, and explore the Christian faith to live it out in our personal lives.

    Year 12 – 13

A great hangout space where anyone can come and share what they really think.  We love chatting about faith in Jesus and encouraging each other to live life to the full.

  • Sundays

Many of our youth come along to the 7pm gathering later in the evening. This is a great way to meet God and experience powerful collective worship with the church family. The gathering is aimed at youth, students and young adults.

  • Events

Defined Live – Our monthly evenings of live worship and inspiring messages. This is our version of church for teenagers! Come check it out.

Weekend Away – our weekend away gives us opportunities to worship and hear from God together as well as lots of times for games, food and spending time as a community.

Summer Festival – every year we take a group from STC Youth to a Summer Festival. These times away together give our young people a chance to meet with others their own age, hear relevant messages, worship together and even work out how to pitch a tent in the rain! We always have an amazing and for many - a life changing time away in the Summer.

  • Defined Catch Up

We really want to see young people grow and thrive and recognise the importance of having space to really share what is happening in our lives. Defined Catch up is our mentoring scheme whereby we connect members of our community with one of our amazing team leaders to meet up every few weeks for a catch up walk or brew. For more information on how to access this, please get in contact with the Youth Church Leader.
